For platform, talent and portfolio teams
A session your founders will rate well, with nothing for your team to prepare.
You send one invite. GrowthPath brings the content, runs the room and follows up with founders directly. It slots into a cohort, a summit or an office hours series you already run.
The model for this session
Luke Beseda founded Lightspeed's Talent Infrastructure team and runs Launch, the firm's program for seed and early stage founders. After GrowthPath ran the workshop for a Lightspeed cohort, he said:
“This is hands-down the best use of one hour that I can recommend to our portfolio company founders.”
Luke Beseda, Partner, Lightspeed Venture Partners
Who hosts it
The person whose job is helping founders after the check clears.
At larger firms that is a platform, talent or portfolio services lead. At smaller funds it is often a GP.
Platform and portfolio services leads
Head of Platform, VP Portfolio Success, Head of Founder Programs
What matters to you. Programming founders actually attend, and proof of platform value back to the GPs.
Why this fits. A ready made session with a peer endorsement from Lightspeed.
Talent partners
Talent Partner, Head of People Infrastructure
What matters to you. Founders who can recruit, and early hires who understand the mission.
Why this fits. The origin story is the hiring pitch.
Community and events leads
Head of Community, Events Manager
What matters to you. Filling a cohort calendar with sessions that get rated well.
Why this fits. Turnkey format, nothing to prepare.
GPs at funds without a platform team
General Partner, Managing Partner
What matters to you. Founder outcomes on fundraising and first revenue.
Why this fits. Helps their founders raise the next round.
Firm fit
It works best at firms where the story is still being formed.
The workshop is built for early stage portfolios. The firms that get the most from it look like this:
- Invests at pre seed to Series A, where the origin story is still being formed.
- Has at least 10 active early stage companies, enough to fill a cohort.
- Portfolio leans B2B, SaaS, AI native or fintech, where GrowthPath's client base is deepest.
- Already runs founder programming such as cohorts, summits or office hours. These firms have a slot to fill.
If your firm is a little outside that profile, ask anyway. A cohort of eight founders at a lean fund works as well as a cohort of fifteen at a platform heavy one.

Straight answers
The questions platform leads ask, answered the way we answer them on a call.
What's the catch? Are you using our portfolio as a lead list?
Fair question. The session is free and there is no pitch in it. Some founders choose to keep working with us afterward, and that is how it pays off for us. The firm decides who is invited, and each founder decides whether to follow up. We would rather say that plainly than have you wonder.
We already run founder programming.
Then this fits into a slot you already have. It is a single hour on one specific skill, so it complements what you run rather than replacing it.
Our founders are too busy.
That is why it is one hour, and why they leave with a draft they will use in their next pitch or hiring conversation that week.
We have in house marketing or GTM support.
This is less marketing and more the foundation under it: why the company exists and why now. Your team can build on the output.
Can we see it first?
Yes. We can run a short trial session for one founder from your portfolio, or arrange a reference call with the Lightspeed team.
Not this quarter.
Understood. If you are planning first half programming, we can pencil in a January date now and confirm it in December.
Does anyone have to prepare?
No. Founders come as they are. Your team sends one invite. We bring the framework, run the room and handle the follow up.
Twenty minutes to pick a date and a founder cohort.
Tell us about your firm and the founders you have in mind. A GrowthPath partner will reply to set it up.
